Counselling

If you are being affected by issues or concerns that are stopping you from enjoying life or reaching your full potential, then our counselling services could help.

Counselling offers a safe, non-judgemental space to explore any concerns that may be affecting you in your life, and to work out and understand for yourself what the issues are that are impacting on your mental wellbeing.

Person-centred counselling at Mind is at the core of what we offer. We are here to listen to you, to support you in gaining greater understanding of any issues and how you might move past them. We will readily sit alongside you and support you as you make any necessary changes in your life.

Sometimes it is difficult to talk to friends, family, loved ones or colleagues. Sometimes our family or friends can be part of the issue, or we don’t want to upset them with how we feel. Our counselling services provide you with a safe space to explore all these things with an experienced counsellor.

We have been been offering counselling services and support since 1977. We are the experts to turn to when you are struggling with your mental health. Our counsellors are all members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and comply with the BACP Ethical Framework, meaning they must complete a minimum of 30 hours of continued professional development each year.

The issues we can help you with are listed on the left of this page. Contact us to discuss
